Where did you get this information? Very intrested in seeing what comes out from evinrude
Before introducing an engine it must be CARB certified there is a 2019 report that was recently loaded on line. I'm trying to insert a picture but cant seem to drop it in.
1.865 liter displacement 5500RPM and 110 Kw = 148HP
also an 84.6 KW = 113HP
103 KW = 138 HP Perhaps one tuned for a Pontoon?
100 Kw = 134 HP
Assuming I converted correctly..

Close enough, you multiply the KW power value by 1.341 to get the HP.
We'll see.
That hasnt been the only leak ive seen on Facebook the last couple days, there may already be a picture of one floating round.
Time will tell!

Evinrude will inform dealers of the 2020 models on June 11th.
I will say this much it isn't the 400 HP V-8 that you were hoping for but the Skiff owners will be ecstatic.
i'm with the skiff owners
Im going to need a very light 70hp to replace my yamaha 2 stroke on my flats boat someday.

I'm not gonna lose any sleep over this "BIG" announcement.
An Optimax like 115hp?....3 cylinder
A 3 cylinder 150hp? An under powered 150 to go with their over weight 150? Merc and Yamaha must not be into bashing commercials or they could definitely have a field day with this announcement.
Nope. Bet you can go to the tin boats section in 6 months after being available and see little talk about the new motors. When Merc introduced their new 115 ProXS 4-stroke, it was on probably 80% of the new Ranger tin boats.
Ive never had anything other than a Johnson or Evinrude on my transoms. Hate to say it but for BRP to keep afloat in the outboard business, they have to have a 4-stroke line that covers more than portables. Johnson needs to emerge from the ashes as a new 4-stroke line.
