    I am new here and also a new Champ owner, and the thread referred to above is the most interesting thing I have ever read related to the evolution of any business/hobby/sport.

    Another new Champ owner here and I can honestly say that Pat's knowledge about the brand had a great deal to do with helping me make the switch to Champ.................thanks Pat. I have read and re-read several times and will probably do so again!

    I'm a Champion fan through and through and have owned a '93 176 and my current '04 196. I was fascinated by Pat's detailed history of Champion. Would love to hear more.
