    [Cashion 7’1 MH chatter bait rod. I used a few different rods and this one is by far the best. I throw it with fluro. We have clear lakes with grass. If I get it stuck in a weed and it pops right out versus ripping threw like braid. It’s also a very versatile rod.

    I use the Falcon Bucoo 7 mh trap caster it does a phenomenal job with chatterbaits

    I've used both the iRod Vibrating/swim jig rod and the skeet reese spinnerbait/worm rod. Both work great. The Skeet rod is softer for sure, so for anything over 3/8oz it might be a little soft.

    has anyone ever used a nrx 873 for a chatterbait and/or swimbait? if so how did it work for you and if not what do you all think about this rod for those applications?

    I think the 873 would be too stiff for a Chatterbait. I have used it for big swimbaits though. Try an 893 or 853 for Chatterbaits. The Dobyns glass rods are the best that I've used soo far.
