I have had terrible success with glass or composite rods with fish coming off. Have used a Loomis 845c and expride 7’2” MH glass. I personally like a medium heavy fast action like a GLX mbr 843

Use braid with glass or composite rods
Jumped off the glass wagon. NRX 893 has been working very well for me.

I don't fish largemouth much, but when I do I throw a chatterbait on a falcon bucoo trapcaster. It's probably not the best rod for chatterbaits but I don't have any issues with it and it's like $100.
If you want 7’ model, and not longer..... 7’ Kistler Helium 3 Heavy action.... absolutely perfect. Don’t pay attention to the extra fast action label on this model... it’s actually more moderate fast. Great backbone for hook sets, but perfect tip for casting and letting the fish get the bait. I use 17 or 20 lb invizix.
this rod is versatile too. can be used as a frog rod, mag top water rod, or swimbait rod

Okuma TCS 7' M+...I own 2...Never thrown a vibrating jig on it...was told by another BBC'r that its the cats ass...I love the rod for jerks and Topwater...so since I have a back up I am gonna try that.
You should know that in bee tending if you don't shut your trap the bees will get out.
Got both dobyns 736CB and 734C using 1/2 oz.
I mostly use the 734 on nasty vegetation when the 736 tends to get the open field.
Dobyns 736. 6.4 BB1 Pro and your favorite 20lb fluoro...the don't put it down.
Kistler klx feel n reel 7’3” heavy, loads up excellent and keeps em pinned......
Custom MHX MBR 843 and Dobyns 734 both were really well.
I was using a G Loomis spinnerbait rod but I was losing too many fish. Someone recommended the Megabass Orochi Fast Moving Special. I love it! Wish I could find another one.
The Chatterbound is excellent for chatterbaits. The rod has spiral texture and I use it strictly for chatterbaits. They have a rod for spinnerbaits that is excellent also. The Rebound rod is probably their best all around rod. Everything they make is top notch and I couldn’t say enough about their products. I switched my entire line up to them. My previous rods were Kistler and I thought I would never change. I had been with them since 1999.
If you don't want a glass rod I've had alot of success with the dobyns champ 734

Dobyns 705 glass
Bought it for a crank rod but it’s to stiff
its a great chatter bait rod
