    They are legit and have great prices but their trade-ins is a complete robbery.

    They’re up front about their trade in program. If you don’t like their offers sell your stuff out right. Nobody is forcing you to use the trade in program. I’ve bought a bunch of reels from them and have experienced nothing but great service. I ordered some items that were out of stock and they called me to let me know the situation. They got me the reels I ordered and had them to me within a week

    I started using their trade in program about 10 years ago and it was fine. Only last few years they seem to have devalued trade in prices.

    Hey, just trying to save people time and money so you wont waste your time and money on shipping a brand new or near new $300 rod and they give you a quote for $130.

    They are ok. Not my favorite but I have ordered from them a few times. One time they completely wiffed on my order. Something like 2 out of 8 things were correct. Had to ship all the incorrect items back and wait for new ones. Not much in the way of an apology or please keep this or that as way of saying sorry for the mess up. I haven’t ordered from them since.

    In something like 10 years of using TW and TackleTrap I have never had a messed up order and some of those orders were very large.

    American Legacy does have some nice sales on occasion but I have not bought anything from them since the order mess up.

    Bought a couple of reels from them on a Saturday morning. Got a tracking e-mail within an hour. They were delivered the following Tuesday. Great to do business with. Knowledgeable CS staff.

    They are legit, got a couple G Loomis rods from them. Never had any problems with them.
