    GeigerTec Marine V8 4S Transom Saver

    Still waiting on new boat with new 4S Merc and shopping options for a transom saver. Thoughts/opinions on this design??

    We are all using these here in Canada for the 4S and 2S Opti. You should see the graph mounts ,amazing stuff and cheap considering Americans save 35 points just on the exchange rate.

    Hummm? I paid about $105.00 for my MotorMate with a veterans discount and free shipping in 2013. The cup ends no longer work with the new 250 V8 so I replaced them with solid end caps and it now rests inside the bottom pockets on the four stroke. Just needed to add the Gatorbak steering locks to keep the engine from flopping around. You will need the steering locks with the Geiger engine support.

    Yes, I am repowering and I need to go ahead and get my Motormate modified so when the motor comes in I'll be ready. Only problem is I can't find that thread where you described how to do this mod.
