    Big difference between MSRP and what some will sell for. A few dealers have a lot more left to eat than others.

    Talked to my dealer Friday and he said he is honoring original quote with all customers that put deposit on new engine.

    Some dealers gave back the deposits a long time ago.. Most are just making a list..and waiting.

    Check with Nashville marine. I was in search of a new 250 about 4 weeks ago and called over 75 places. Most people laughed at me and said good luck getting one and it would be 12-24 months. I called Nashville marine and they had a new 250 Merc 4 stroke on the back of my boat two days later. Already have 13 hrs on the motor now!

    Yep ! I ordered mine October 2018. Been without a boat the entire season. Not happy. No matter what ( short of Mercury giving me one hell of a deal ) this will be my last Mercury. There's no excuse for this mismanagement, and that's what I think it is. I understand there have been many factors which created this not so "perfect storm" but giving dealers ALL their priorities and not holding back a percentage for single repower purchases was not wise IMO. My last Mercury.
