I really like the KVD 5” caffeine swimming shad but it is feast or famine depending upon the lake I fish. I fish it on a weighted hook.

I can't catch a fish on a swimbait to save my life.
Throw 6" all the time. Really dont consider that a big bait on the TN river. I love a swimbait bite!
Most of the fish around here are intimidated by anything over 6"

QUOTE=SKfishing;10313159]i am a swimbait addict. Catching 20 that weight 122+ will do that to you.[/QUOTE] No doubt it would.
When I was looking at the S Wavers, I ended up going cheap, and paid for it. Bought the bass pro shop knockoffs. Had big bass, and they pulled splitrings off with hooks, hooks would bend and so on.
Then when I changed everything out to heavy duty, haven't had another hit. Added the Jackall GANTIA baits to the mix as well. Great swimming action. Just haven't had a bass hit any of them. In time I know I will though.
And I have many soft swimbaits up to 7".
Yes I have them. No I haven't had the time to fish them under the right circumstances. Have a bunch of swimbabes that I will take out for a date soon. Some Ospreys and 3:16s also.
I’m changing it up some this year. Trying some hard multi-jointed swimbaits in the 4”-6” range and soft swimbaits 6”,7”,8” and 10”. Also using chatterbait/swimbait combos.

I would love to try it but can’t find a 6inch megabass magdraft swimbait in albino or white back shad no where
I,d rather be tried by 12 than be carried by 6
I moved to Clearlake 12 years ago. First couple years i threw just about all of them and caught fish on pretty much all of them. The lake has turned more to a shad based lake and I personally dont catch as many on the bigger baits as I used to.
Osprey 6,7 and 9 inch are all good. Caught a ton on the 6"trash fish and 5.8 keitechs.
Once you find a swimbaits that works in your lake the bite can be addicting

Fished them quite a bit in Florida and then really got into them heavy when I lived in NorCal. Had some awesome days on Clear Lake and Berryessa but Lake Sonoma was my favorite for big baits. A lot less pressure from the big bait crowd and really holds some giants!!
Yes, Huddleston, bull shad and s wavers. Even the Academy H20 swim baits have caught many a fish for me

Hey, Mark Perry-
Your mother smells of elderberries, and I fart in your general direction. Maybe that will be enough taunting for a mod to come close and delete this thread, before too many people get wound up about throwing big swimmers. They don’t work at all guys. The bass just laugh at em. Go back to Ned rigs and Senkos... those really catch em!
