anyone else running a nitro @ 2.5 ptp?

8inch plate. 24 bravo .

anyone else running this high on a nitro hull .seems odd.

the v8 has more set back to the prop than the 2 stroke, so they are higher just because of that, 2nd i question your mesuring given what i see only, 3rd if you boat is slower the water will rise more than a faster boat after it separates from the transom

didnt know more setback on new v8?. and I went 2 inches more on plate? and yes like 63.8 loaded. so the slow swell makes more sense

measure same as I did before. bottom of hull level. ventilation plate level ..boat in garage. set it at 3.5 and marked it for easy reference for tuning. plate is up close to an inch from there.

I just use the one line as reference as not to mess up powder coat.. it's an 8 inch slidemaster.

measure from the center of the prop shaft (take prop off) not the cav plate

yes I measured from centre of shaft. with plate and hull level. sorry if my post was confusing
