    Prop suggestions

    I posted in setups but this is probably the right place. I have a 2006 Tracker 190 TX with a 90 Optimax that came with a Laser 2 21p prop. The motor is mounted in the second hole from the top and the tach doesn't work so RPM is unkown. The hole shot is acceptable but the top speed is 32 to 36 with only me and a light load. Does anybody have any suggestions to a prop that might perform bettr than the Laser 2? What should top speed be and where should the RPM be, I plan on installing a new tach soon.

    Something is out of whack. You should be easily in the low 40's with a stock alum prop on that boat

    I have bought a vessel view mobile and soon I will post the RPM and the speed. There are some experienced prop guys on here and I'm looking forward to hear from them all. The boat runs 41 or 42 by gps. The engine will overwind with just a touch to much trim and easily turns 5800. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
