    Prop advice

I have a 2014 pro guide v175 with a 115 merc with the 2.07 standard gear case. My uncle trashed the original 3 blade prop wich was an oem 13.25 x 17 prop. They replaced it with a 4 blade spitfire 13x17.
Took the boat out performance sucks? Ya get up to around 28 and start to trim up and it will just burn out every time, top speed is like 32 at 5400 rpm. Didnt wasn't to push it any harder as it keeps slipping or burning out.
So any fellow tracker owners with the same boat what prop are u using? What kind of performance are u getting?

How much different did the boat run with the 3 blade 13.25, 17p?

If you were happy before why not have them replace it with the same prop it came with?

I don't know never got to drive it with the 3 blade and he Did not go fast. He says it worked fine. He had only used the boat 6 times since new. I can tell you this I used to have a 2009 version of the same boat with a 90 horse opti and it ran a 18 p vengance prop and had no issues and did 42

17p is to small, and a Spitfire 4 blade with 13 diameter will not hold on that heavy boat. You need a X7 19p.
