I think big bass is relative in this case. A 3#'er could take first though!

It is the time of year where the +3# fish are getting hard to find but the weather should be good for active fish.

Talked to the promoter Jeff last night. I will be fishing it and my wife will be setup in a booth at the weigh-in site. Stop by and introduce yourself if you are at the tournament.

I think a 3.8 won big fish of the tournament!

Honest Mike Outdoors put on a great tournament and the prize money they shelled out is almost unheard-off for the Ohio river! If you missed fishing this tournament you missed a great opportunity to catch a few fish and take home some money. The crew they had did an awesome job running the tournament. The radio station Eagle Country 99.3 was there on site announcing updates throughout the day. We setup a booth at the weigh-in and Sarah even did a short radio spot telling about our lures on Saturday! I caught a some fish each day for the weigh-in and won a little money and to top it off everything I brought in I caught on one of our lures! I hope they can get enough interest to bring this tournament back as it was a fun tournament. The different format was a nice change of pace and caused you to think about a little strategy on when to weigh your fish.
