    Boat leans to right side

I just picked up a 2014 Ranger 621VS Fisherman with a Yamaha F300XCA. While moving out of the bay the boat leans to the right. Would this be caused by the dorsal fin at the bottom of the cavitation plate? What adjustment should I make to have the lean to the right go away? Appreciate anyone’s help.

I think I should have posted this in general forms?

    Get a passenger.
I might remind you no political posts (leans to right) allowed.
You should transfer to the Ranger Forum.
    I'm a vet too.

My TR-21X Triton does the same thing. It leans to the right when coming off plane or when getting up until I get the motor trimmed up at speed. As was mentioned, get a passenger on the left side and it won't do it, or at least mine dont. You could also try filling your live well on the port or left side. That might help.

I don't think doing anything with the skeg will help the situation. I know Tritons have been doing this for a while but this is the first time I have heard of a Ranger doing it, but then again I seldom, if ever, get on the Ranger board.

Could be how the boat is loaded, battery type, quantity and location, among other things.
