    Netgear Orbi

I live out in a rural area. Finally getting rid of my Verizon Mifi. We’re having a dish installed by a local provider that many of our neighbors use and are very satisfied. The installer was out today to take some signal readings and recommended that for a router we purchase a Netgear Orbi with one preferably two satellite extenders.

Is this good advice?. Don’t know anything about these things.

I’d look at some other brands personally. Netgear has been dropping the ball the last several years on their router software. Very buggy and slow.

I have used a Netgear Orbi system for a couple of years and it has performed very well.

I have the Orbi with two satellites and can cover a 4 acre property - excellent range.

The orbi has been the best performing router that I have ever had. Never drops and it covers a large area. From my experience, he’s giving you good advice.

I have the Orbi and I generally like it. There are some issues with it and some types of Alarm system cameras randomly going offline and coming back online. Other than that it is a solid performing system.

Same here...check Costco, I found they had the best price when I bought mine.
