In town for work looking to do some bass fishing

Hey guys I’m goin to be in Cincinnati next week for work thinking about bringing the boat. Do guys have any recommendations on nearby lakes to fish. I know the Ohio river is right there but I’ve never fished it don’t know if it’s any good and I’m not familiar with the hazards or river techniques associated with it . William h harsha lake is about 30min from where I’ll be anybody familiar with that lake. Thanks for any suggestions

Rocky Fork would be worth the extra 30 minute drive if possible. East fork(william harsha) has its moments, but for the most part isn't a great bass fishery. Caesar's Creek sucks pretty bad this year so far. Ohio isn't known for stellar bass fishing.

Both rocky and paint have a pretty good bite going on as of last weekend. East fork was very tough according to some guys in a club circuit

It is a river system but most hazards are when you are entering and leaving creek mouths. The main river channel is pretty safe is you stay 150' off the bank. Rocky Fork would be my best recommendation for lakes in the area.
