Im prob gonna hit Cayuga at least once too. I have never been to finger lakes area. Only chautauqua lake. Are there any of the other finger lakes you guys think i should hit?

Conesus will have a good number of fish on beds
Last weekend the bigger ones were still offshore/prespawn
Water temps will range from high 50s to low-mid 60s

    Cayuga will fish pretty well
Again I would look offshore up north
Look for rock piles and maybe new grass and you should find fish

Skaneateles is really clear lake that can be really fun to catch good smallmouth
Sodus Bay will be flooded but the fishing should be really good right now
Oneida should be fishing pretty well too if you want to make a longer drive

Definitely hit the 3 Legged Pig in Livonia for some awesome BBQ! One of the things I look forward to when I stay up there for tournaments.

Also, if you like craft beers and local wines, check out the Cornerstone Market in Honeoye. They have all sorts of growlers and wines from local breweries/wineries. Pretty neat place and they have some good food as well.

You may also consider making a ride over to Silver lake in Perry. It's to the west of Conesus. Big largemouth and smallmouth in there and it's a smaller lake, so it gets overlooked often.

Post back on what you find, please. I'm heading up there on the 8th for 5 days. Staying in a house on Conesus.

Not a good start. Started fishing at 2 or so on honeoye. Got 10. Rough weather too start. When sun came out didn’t see anything swimming. Threw bout everything except lures with treble hooks lol. Worked docks and the weed line.

Trying decide on conesus or Cayuga tomorrow. Wind nnw 10-20. Watch’s think?

10-20 winds will likely make Cayuga ugly.

If the winds are out of the south for sure. East or west can be manageable depending on what you're willing to put up with

Kingfisher, I ran into you this morning at the launch.

Day was a little slow for me. Only fished until about 1. Caught all of mine on the East side.

Hopefully you found some big ones

My experience with Conesus and dock fishing is that you've got to get the bait way back under there. Most folks can only flip around the edges. Skipping is a must there.
