    SEA STAR STEERING

    need an alternative to fluid for sea star steering, theres cost to much for me,is there a less expensive fluid i can use? thank very much,novice boater ,rbass

    Pull your manual offline if you don't have a hard copy. They list alternatives. Pretty sure most ISO 32 hydraulic fluids meeting Mil 5606 standards will work. When I replaced my seals recently, mine had a red colored fluid in them. SeaStar is clear. What they list below are mostly aeronautical hydraulic fluids.
