Live well valve switch and fuel sender 2001. 206

    My 206 has 2 issues

    1. Switch on live well valves is broke
    ant read positions
any one know which one to get?
    is it left side loser
    center recirculating
    right drain?

    supplier has six variations

    2. Fuel sender unit
i know it is under the deck
    there is no access holes
was thinking of putting an access plate to get to it

but where exactly is it located
don’t want to cut random holes

I don't know how similar the 206 & 210 are, but on mine, the drain control is just open/close. The sending unit is in the center behind the seats. You can see the split in the carpet 4-5" back. There are a bunch of screws around the perimeter of the cover. The seats may need to be removed to get to some of the screws.

Not sure with a 2001 206. But on my 2003 206 built in Murfeesboro, TN the livewell valve switch is just a open/closed switch. There is access to the top of my gas tank behind the middle seat, fold it down and take out a few screws on a black metal plate and I can see the top of the tank under the deck.

Ed.R just figured out that picture of yours, I thought you cut that out to get to the tanks. i see that seat platform sits on top.

Dave, the 198 has a one piece seat module. Pretty handy for tank access and running wires. Has about a dozen screws around the perimeter holding it in.

Not trying to be a know it all but maybe a second look is a good idea before going any further. My boat is an 08 210. Access to the fuel line connections and the sender unit is much like the pictures above. I have to remove the seats. There is an L shaped piece that runs the entire width of the boat . Across the bottom are several tabs that fit into slots. Along the top are about half a dozen screws and then there are maybe one in each corner at the bottom. Reason I'm commenting on this is because the screws on mine are/were basically hidden from discovery as the carpet knap kinda covered them from view. My guess is if you search carefully you will find some of these screws if your 206 is built like my 210. If you do find and remove these screws then the panel will basically lift straight up. You may have to put a screwdriver under the rear/backside edge to lift it enough to get your fingers under it and then it should lift out.

I have an ‘03 206. I replaced my sending unit. I had to remove my aluminum seat tray/base that covers the tank. I could not access the sending unit there, but I could see it and could have moved the tank enough to change it if the tank wasn’t full. While checking options and looking, I found that there was an access panel above the sending unit on the back deck. There was a cover screwed down that was flush and covered by the carpet. Since I’m planning on new carpet soon, I cut the carpet to access the panel and change out the sending unit.

My 2001 206 has just on off or open close livewell drain handle from flow-rite.
I don't believe there is any access panel under your carpet on the back deck. there is a 4" hole cut out behind my pax seat back that offers little to none access to the fuel fill hose and no access to sending unit. I cut a matching hole behind the driver seat, but still minimal access to the lines. my intention was to replace the fuel lines, but never finished this project. still on my to do list. Please post pics and updates if you get it replaced. Very interested in how you get it done.
    Thanks and good luck!
