Grass in Aquia Creek?

I'd heard reports that the grass was not flourishing too well in Aquia Creek these days.

Is this still the case? How does the grass look in Aquia and how is it fishing?

There is grass in the cove right after thorny point heading to the main river. You can miss it with the 15-20 boats that have been in there every weekend. Other than that there are a few little areas with some grass but not much at all.

Thanks for all the input. I’m gonna play around in Aquia and maybe Potomac creek on Friday. Tournament on Saturday going out of hope springs and I don’t really wanna go north because of the BFL All American out of Smallwood.

Geez - tons of tournaments launching out this weekend - even with the BFL running. In addition, I know Battle Series will be out there Saturday and Sunday.

Aquia has just a few grass patches and they are getting pounded 7 days a week. The crowd of tourists were out yesterday running around everywhere. The beach is barren and that has really kept allot of them up north. Water temp was 87 when I loaded up at 1.
