Question Headed to the Frio River

We are some first timers and gonna pull the camper with us. Any must do's or need to see and eats? We are definitely floating the river and checking out Garner. Pretty excited.......

Not much down there other than the river, Garner and the bikinis everywhere. We cook all our meals so I’m no help there. Beautiful country and yall will have a great time.

Be sure to contact the park before you go, assume you have a reservation as they fill up to capacity very early in the mornings.

Hope you're having a good time jaybee. If you've got the kids with you, definitely take them to the dance inside the park. It starts whenever people show up, usually a good while before dark, and lasts as late as 11:00. Even if the park gets full during the day and they deny access to e park, they open it up around 6:30 in the evening for people to go to the dance. It's also an every night thing, so you don't have to wonder which night to go. I'm headed that way this weekend, getting there on Sunday and staying a couple of weeks.

You can reserve a day pass online now to state parks.
