Good split ring pliers for Vision 110's, #2 Split Rings

Had a hook break off my finger yesterday when unhooking a fish. Not to mention, I've lost countless fish on the stock 110 hooks. Got some hyperwire #2 split rings and #5 nano trebles. But apparently, I bought the wrong pliers.
    Any recommendations?
    Thanks.

    Broke off your finger?
I haven't had that happened yet. Been hooked many times, even yesterday. And have had hooks break. But only broke fingers playing football, and working. Never broke one off.

Wrong pliers??? Any split ring pliers will work, and really you can do it with regular needle nose

You sir must have a special talent and good eyes.

If you find a GOOD set that works on different sizes let me know.
I have two pair-- one for small rings and another for medium size. The best ones I have are some I modified with a small hand file and a Dremel..

Texas Tackle makes the best split ring pliers. Trust me.... And thank me later :)

Texas tackle with orange handles or I hear the Xuron's are great as well.

Correction: The Hook broke off IN my finger. One words matters LOL. The barb went in the finger and the hook snapped, only a little was above the skin.
Luckily, there was a paramedic at the ramp that ripped it out for me. Saved me a trip to the ER. When the conversation starts with "how's your pain tolerance," it's not a good thing.
Those hooks are junk though. I always lose fish on them (they do catch a bunch though).

Been using these for the last couple of years. Great for split rings, split shot, and cut line AND braid like it was butter !!

Na no special talent here. I just use a pair of needle nose I’ve had in the boat forever. I do it just like KVD does in this video. He doesn’t use split ring pliers either. Here’s the video.

I have a pair of Rapala multi tool pliers with the split ring tip that I have never tried using on split rings. Got em at Walmart about 12 years ago. They work pretty good for most everything I need pliers for on the boat. Here are the same pliers at Amazon.

Got Xurons and the Orange handle Texas Tackles. Like the Xuron's a little better for the small split rings. Thanks!

The orange handle Texas Tackle pliers don't work very well for size 2 split rings. I bought them on everyone's recommendations and was disappointed. They are just OK for size 3 split rings and great for anything larger. I recommend Xuron.
