Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band

Took my Honey to see Seger on his Farewell Tour. At 74, he is as good as he was back in the 70s. It was an amazing show and his massive Silver Bullet Band was a great as he was. If you have any Classic Rock blood in you, find out where one of his concerts will be and go.
    You won’t be disappointed.

One of my best friends called me last night and said he went to the show in Raleigh Thursday night. He said it was a hell of a show. I hate I missed it, but it was a school night and 1 1/2 hours each way.

I saw him as well a few months ago and thought he was great. Also saw the Who a few weeks ago, they were just ok.

Thursday Night at Walnut Creek Amphitheater in Raleigh, Grand Funk Railroad opened for Seger. They were pretty good.
We try to see Def Leppard and Journey when they come to town and have seen them both quite often. Both groups put on a great show, but Thursday’s Seger show was a level above. Whoever was doing the mixing, had everything and everyone dialed in. Seger has 3 older, female back up singers and they were great.

Seger, yes. Never cared for or saw the fascination in Springsteen.

Knoxville 1979. Found one of his first albums, Mongrel, back in ‘81 for $2 in a bin of discount records, still have it. IMO, one of the most underrated of all time. Pam J., if you’re reading this,,,holla. LOL

Seger is as good as it gets. My wife has a bunch of his old albums.
