    Texas Bound

Any suggestions where to go. Will be there last week of June though 1st week of July. Visiting my 2 middle sons and grandkids.
I have been to choke canyon with a guide 10 years ago.
Been to Fork with my boys, they rented a cabin on the lake front and a boat, for 3 days , as a Father's Day present. Open to go with a guide. Just looking for suggestions, for this time of year. Thanks

Well don’t go back to Choke, it’s been horrible for the last couple years. Might be a little better in 2-3 years now that it came up a few feet.

Probably 4 to 6 hours, just waiting to catch some big Texas bass , and make memories with the boys.

"YourLakeForkGuide" has been having some really good production last few weeks. Both there and a Lake Athens. You can find him on Facebook. Those are some massive lakes and overwhelming without a guide service. Lake Towakoni is down the road from Fork, and puts out MASSIVE Blue Catfish. Plenty of guides there too.

Just go to HUbbard Creek. The fishing is good. Today there were 5 20lb plus stringers in a tournament and the wind was blowing 30 mph. It wuld have been even better if less wind.
    Only 50 miles from Abilene.
