    Braid/Line Cutter

Throw out some suggestions for some quality braid/line cutters...have been using Boomerang Snips, but they are fading fast and won't get thru the braid cleanly anymore

    Thanks

I've been using a pair of Cuda braid shears for over a year and they work like they're brand new ... I use braid a lot! I just looked and they're available on Amazon for $7.69. Cuda Large Braid Shears is what they're called but they aren't large (just over 5"). I've been buying them as gifts for my fishing buddies and they love 'em!

I use the small Cuda shears. Work great and can get them at Academy Sports.

The cheap kids scissors that you can get at Walmart for around a dollar work awesome on braid.

The braid shears from monster tackle are the best I have tried yet. I also use a lot of braid

They can snip a 1/2 inch of limp 10# braid off a hook without being pulled tight

This.........I buy 3 or 4 pair at a time. A pair will last a couple of years but some how they go missing so I have spares. I think they are more than a dollar but cheap.
The brand name is Fiskars spelling is close only.

Fiskars scissors work well, as does my gerber tool scissors.

    No special tools needed.

I have a few pairs of these Pitbull cutters. I’ve never used anything better and after a couple of seasons they show no signs of wear.

I have 2 of the boomerangs and for 3 years now they have worked great.
But most of the time that I'm on the water, I use my SOG.
