Better than anything I’ve used. You can get the micro scissors of theirs on amazon for $4.99 a pair. Best thing I’ve ever used.

My everyday pair for cutting nothing but braid are some Jonard Fiber Optic cutters, made for linemen and cable installers for cutting kevlar and fiber optics...https://www.amazon.com/Jonard-JIC-18...MNHHDCN430N7S0 . They work very good...much better than any braid or school scissors I've ever tried. As good as they are, I still have to have some tension, not necessarily tight like with cheaper scissors, on the braid for them to cut cleanly.

I have found the ultimate braid cutting scissors in the most unlikely place. As good as the Jonard scissors are, these cut braid like it was a strand of hair. I was giving the facial growth a trim one morning and thought to myself that the scissors I was using were the most effortless cutting tool I had ever used. I ran out to the garage and grabbed several different weights of braid and the hair cutting scissors cut it limp in little tiny pieces and clean as a could be...snip snip snip...no fuzzy end at all. I'm still keeping the hair trimmers in the medicine cabinet but I'm thinking my next pair of braid scissors might be these.... https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the
    Bass.

Yes if you drop them and the go into the back of your boat seat and cut a nice little hole that gets worse with time.

Bought a pair of Gerber earlier this year I like a lot. Also like the Daiwa J Braid cutters as well.

Buy another set of Boomerangs. Hard to beat when they’re sharp.
I also keep a set of Tim Holtz ceramic coated scissors for backup. Cut like a razor, and don’t rust.

Shear type cutters like nail clippers work well with mono and fluoro lines.
The thin strands of fibres need scissors to slice through.
A good set of sharp hardened scissors work well for all types of line.

I used these. They're scary sharp. Once I cut some line and thought "did I nick my finger?" Yes cut it very deep and it bleed like crazy. I put pressure on it for 30 mins to get the bleeding to stop. Sealed it with superglue, but it took months to heal.

    Again. They. Are. Sharp!
