    Mercury Trim Gauge Help

I have a 2015 75hp Mercury serial number2B197510 model 1F754131D and the trim gauge quit working. I checked the fuses and bought a new gauge but the needle just stays up by the H and will not move with the motor. I have the brown wire with white stripe on the S terminal the black on the GND ternimal and purple on the I terminal is the wiring right. I am not sure what to try next any ideas would be appericated if you have one.

Hello fishon...Couple of things you can try.
    1) Check the electrical form,(on this site), for wiring verification.
    2) Get your hands on a service manual, in valuable...
Also check that the sensor itself did not come loose and rotate out of position.

    Thanks

I have been looking for a service manual but have not found a used one yet. I will take the sender off but I am not sure what to look for. I will also check out the electrical forum. Thanks for the advice.

Visit your local Mercury dealer, provide your engine serial number and they can get one for you.

I can get one for $45.00 but I am headed to Norris Lake Monday and do not have time for the dealer to work on it. I can fish without it but it would be great if I could get it working.
