From what I'm seeing, looks like it does work with the Hook 5.

I'm looked at a video on YouTube where a guy was unboxing a Hook 5 and it had the blue plug in rear of unit along with the HDI ducer......
Never mind, disregard what I posted.....I just read your post again and see DSI......no that will NOT work.....I apologize......
