    Hole Shot Plate?

Anyone know where I could get a hole shot plate that would work with this jack plate? (TH Marine Hydro-Jacker)

You really don't need a holeshot plate with a small 6" jackplate.

So I have my LSS2 transducer mounted to my JP and I am getting what I think is slight prop wash on my screen, its really not that bad but just wondering if a hole shot plate would maybe help a little?

I see. You would probably have to fabricate one.

Call TH Marine and ask them. I know TH Marine make a Atlas and ZLock jackplate and they offer a hot shot plate for both of those jackplates. If they also make the Hydro Jacker then they might make a hot shot plate for them...don't rely on their website. When I was looking for a hot shot plate for my ZLock their website did not have it listed. I called and they said yes we sell them. They're listed now but not until after I informed them.

I run one with a 6" plate and have noticed a difference.

I have that same jackplate on my boat and I was able to make a plate pretty easily. I went to a local machine shop, bought a piece of scrap sheet aluminum, mocked up what I wanted out of cardboard, then cut the aluminum on my table saw. A circular saw, or even a jig saw would work to cut it as aluminum is quite soft. I then used a hole saw to make a spot for the bottom bolt and nut that is in the middle of the jack plate, and drilled a couple of holes in the bottom of that triangular piece the jack screw goes threw. I threaded the holes, used fender washers, stainless bolts, locktite, then even put some stainless nylocks on the other side just to be 100% sure the plate would never come off unless I wanted it to. It was a couple hour job one evening, not really hard at all.

Have you moved the transducer to the other side of the motor?
