    Salt Fork Lake Ohio

    My son has a crew race on this lake and we are staying n the cabins at the Salt Fork State Park. Really pretty place. I’m not going to get in any fishing but sitting here looking at the lake I’m wondering what they catch out there. Anybody ever fish it?

    Nice scenic lake. Good crappie fishing. Bass is below average.

    ^. Agreed. It’s 20 minutes away from my home and I’ll drive an hour when possible to bass fish elsewhere. When crappie bite is on it draws a big crowd. Musky and walleye are ok. Bass fishing can have its days but it’s s tough go most of the time.
