    trophy plus pitch

I have a trophy plus that is not marked with part number or pitch. Only thing on prop is 0304d which is stamped in the barrel on the hub end. How can I identify this prop for pitch? I'm hoping it's a 24 but just don't know. I do have a 24 pitch trophy (non-plus), can it have the vent holes drilled like a plus? If it could then I would have it B&B'd. But would really like to know about the plus I have.

0304d are numbers that a prop guy stamped in the barrel showing that it was worked. If it doesn't have numbers on the barrel how do you know it's a trophy, it could be a TRO4. The old prop could have PVS holes drilled in it.

It's a trophy plus for sure, it's lazer etched in it. The name and mercury marine are pretty faint.

If there is truly no pitch marking, then the prop must be checked by a prop shop to determine pitch.

The pitch or a serial number should have been on it somewhere. Like Savage said a prop shop with pitch gauges would have to check it.
