I recently bought a new-to-me boat.

Due to poor winter storage (flooded and iced in bilge), the charger and 4 batteries were FUBARed. No other pump/hose damage.

The dealer owner was good to me and had the batteries replaced:

- 3 x 31 series deep cycle Deka Marine DC31DT
- 1 x Power Surge AGM 8A31DTM 105 ah @ 20 hr

However the service mgr insisted on installing a MK315D (3 x 5 amps) charger for the TM batteries. My experience tells me that a 3 x 10 amp is what I need for the 36v system. I have access to MK units only, I believe. Am I right?

As for the AGM cranking/accesory battery; will it be enough to run a Carbon 12/console and a Carbon 12/Live 12 stacked at bow, pumps, etc., or should I forgo the Live 12 for a Live 9, since it will be mostly used for LiveSight when released?

Thanks, BBC!
