    919 speeds

I am getting 77mph on my 919 225 v8 4stroke at about 5900 and change. This is by myself. With two people and tournament load 72-74. What kind of speeds are you all seeing. I haven’t measure ptp yet. I think she has a little more in her. Especially with 2 people because I can barely reach 5900.

on average an 3 to 4 mph difference is normal from single to 2 people and tournament load unless you have a tournament prop and a go fast prop. a hydraulic plate also can help because you can adjust for the load difference
if the 5900 is single then you should be able to gain a little buy raising the height a little, I have seen a few mention getting 78-79 light load at 6100-6200

I got 77.2 on a cold day with perfect conditions. Most days it runs 76.5 in the winter and 75 in the summer. That’s by myself with all my gear, 1/2 gas. 2 PP Blades, Ultrex, 24 Fury 3 blade (stock), PTP 2.75”. I’m thinking of sending my prop to Mark but I’ve been waiting to see if there’s a better set up than the Fury 24.

    Do you have power poles?

No poles. And a 24p fury. I’m going to raise it 1/4” and see where she’s at

no you didn't, it was 72, I was in the boat at the time. I need to unload all the gear, I have so much in there now it's hard to find what I want to fish with. lol This weekend is a good time to reorganize, I need to clean the carpet again today. Maybe next month I'll get back on the 'big lake', and get more time playing with the boat. :-)

And it needs an oil change before I take it up to speed on the big lake.

I have my 919 loaded to the gills and see 75 easy. These boats take driver input to get those speeds. I haven’t seen one yet that wasn’t over 70 mph even with poles and 4 big batteries in the back.

I agree with loaded and mid 70’s. Mine is packed tight with crap I prolly don’t need also. When I first got
it and it was me and a life jacket and 15 gallons of fuel (although not practical) think it would have done 80 plus just didn’t know how to drive it yet. driver input IS REQUIRED for 74 plus.
