Irod Genesis is one of the lightest and best feeling rods I have ever bought. I really like them, especially for the price.

how do they compare to a kistler? trying to decide between the two
Got one sitting on my bench now. Has a split grip reel seat. After it was used over the weekend the reel seat separated due to a crappy epoxy job. I wouldn’t spend a dime on them my self. It’s going to cost this guy more to fix it that it would to buy another. Craftsmanship has become a thing of the past. So many corners get cut theses days.
At first I loved them, then I had issues with several of mine. Finally got tired of sending them back and went a different direction
