    Battery + Stud - Is 5/16" the new 3/8"?

    Howdy guys-

Gonna be installing 2 new batteries and wiring for both TMs, as well as a new cranking battery and breakers. These will all be lead acid, most probably Duracell, as my current Guest 2631 charger and motor with stator don't support AGM. Seems most batteries are using a 5/16" stud now (along with a post) for the + side. Does the smart person use a 5/16" terminal for + battery connections, or 3/8" in the event a new battery down the road still utilizes a 3/8" stud? I will be ordering pre-fab wiring with terminals from Genuine Dealz.

    Thanks

I use the 3/8" as it will fit the 5/16 if needed, but most I see are 3/8". I do custom wiring harnesses here (made to length with terminals and shink as you request)
