I dont know about a number, but the dock builders in western Ky
use encapsulated blue foam. It supposedly wont absorb water.
The front deck of my Tracker has the tan colored spray in. It
looks like residential stuff to me.
In all the aluminums I have built or referbed, I have always used
the blue sheet foam from Lowes. LDS

Tracker uses 4# in the outside hull areas for rigidity, and 2# everywhere else.

Well now I'm torn...I called a Tracker Marine service center and was advised to use 2#.
When you say "outside" hull areas, are you referring to some type of sandwiched hull such as aluminum /foam/aluminum?
I don't place much stock in what the service center told me as I had to call no less than 4 service centers before one even knew what I was talking about.

Yup. That's the area I need to replace. I called Tracker customer relations in Missouri. They had NO CLUE what the foam was. They told me they use spray foam.
I called a few tracker service centers. None of these people have replaced foam. One shop told me they use Great Stuff to replace small sections. Most had no clue what to use. I was finally referred to a boat rebuilding company. They advised 2# A/B.
I was shocked Tracker couldn't tell me what density to use. It seems like a very important detail to have access to

Do not use GreatStuff. It’s not close cell Versa Foam Marine is what I used. A lot of the hydrofoil race boats use it. There is no close cell foam that is 100% closed. But Versa is 96-98% and they have there percentages in writing from independent test sources. It is pricey but it’s the best thing I’ve seen yet. Cost me $500 to do my boat. It comes self-contained in tanks with its own hose and sprayer. If you like to see more pics I have a rebuild thread on here.

Nice. I'll check it out. That certainly seems to be the highest closed cell percentage I've seen

4 pound is structural, areas the hull will push on or areas that you walk but dont have a rigid floor, 2 pound is just to float you
