the cowl from my 08 250 HO. have loosened all three latches and given the cowling a brisk bump with the heel of my hand on all four sides and it didn't pop loose like always. I have tried to pry it up from all 4 sides and no luck. It usually makes a sound like a car door seal breaking loose when opened. I'm kinda stumper.
Did you rotate the latches after pulling them out?

No, I did not, I'm sorry to say. But I came in had some lunch, took a nap and it came to me in a vision to do just that. I went out and did such and proceeded to inspect cables, wiring etc. Lubed my pivot, steering joints and jack plate and detailed the outside almost looks new.
