84 Ranger 320 v livewell operation

So picked up a new to me 84 320V for next to nothing. Engine runs strong boat handles great when I had it our doing some testing on the lake. Have some questions about the livewell operation as I've only had Lowe boats before with smaller tiller motors and no livewelss. I really am having trouble finding info on how the livewells work and what the open/close pull knobs next to the throttle are for.

Basic livewell operation for 80's and 90's Rangers. Might not be exact like yours but same idea.

Thanks a ton, been trying to figure it all out lol. Without real experience with an actual bass boat its been a learning process.
