I've used the trench hog during the winter months and pre-spawn so far and seems to work pretty good. I've caught a lot of big bass on them. Haven't used them since april time frame but plan on it again soon now that the post spawn seems to be in full effect. Makes a good alternative to the zoom brush hog in my opinion.

My son has been using them and they seem to work just as good or better than the different brands that I was using. I bought more for his 13th birthday and some for myself at the last sportsman show, I'd say they are worth it.
