    Severe weather warnings

Wow. I've never heard of school cancellations for T-storms. I hope the forecast is wrong on this one.

Last Saturday night, early Sunday, in Brookeland , Texas was a loud one. woke us up and kept us up for about an hour. Did not bode well for my Sunday fishing excursion.

Yea, chance for some really bad stuff. Hopefully they're wrong about this one. What concerns me is it's very humid, windy and warm right now.

This happens every year. Year in and year out. The pussification of America has bled into Texas in a big way. Canceling football games because of cold weather. Canceling school the day before classes because in might snow, canceling bass tournaments over 25 mph winds. Now canceling school because we might have bad thunderstorms. Where does it
it end. Sorry I just don't get it!!!!

.9 rain last night with lots of lighting. That makes 9.6" of rain for the month, and 18.2" for the year so far. I have 2 ponds on the ranch that have never been full...they're full now.
