    DIY Console Mount Plate

Any of you guys make a plate for your console so you can mount the gimball straight to it and bring your graph up and out? I've heard of some guys using cutting board and painting it but I'd rather have metal but don't have access to a machine shop. Anybody here make them or know someone who does?

I used thick plastic. No issues. Had one since 2014

I made my own for the bow. Used 3/16" ABS and 1/4" aluminum plate as a backer. Used a jig saw and bench grinder to shape everything.\
