    Question RT198 Transducer mounting

    So I initially moved my lowrance hook 7 transducer up and to the right and put the Garmin GT52 in the original spot Ranger installed the lowrance. Well this did not work out. Looks like the water pressure busted the plastic bracket.

    Heres a picture.


    Any recommendations where to put the GT52? Note I do not have a jackplate. Thanks!

    you must have been going too fast or have it mounted a shade too low and getting a lot of drag to break that bracket. you can get a transducer shield and saver to solidify that a bit if they make one for it.

    Here's how i mounted mine, i have birds but same idea. I get great readings at speed.
