Probably a good thing if you'd rather fish than dance around on the front deck with all the wake board boats! Grab the rain gear and hit the lake!

Pushing 90 and windy here for the forecast. Haven’t decided if I want to chance the crazies.

The lake we'll be camping at is a no-ski lake. The one up the road I like to fish has the dreaded ski. There are places to hide where they won't get you, but the ramp cluster can be more then enough for me.

I don't fish on Memorial Day Weekend because of the traffic but I'm still bummed about the weather lately.

Must be a global climate change cause it's raining more than normal in the past 10 years....LOL Sometimes rain is a good thing for the bite and keeps the pleasure boaters away as long as it is only rain. There's no such lake around here without ramp rage on a busy holiday.

Grab a cooler with a 12 pack, lawn chair and a video camera and enjoy the show at the ramp.

Great day, caught around 15 total, biggest one around 3lb, we were using, jigs, ned rigs, and swimbaits. Grandson is 5 yrs old, was teaching him about bed fish, how to catch, take a picture and release it , since not in a tournament. He got a kick at watching fish grab his bait .making memories , with him and my son.

Drove up to the McClure Point south ramp just to see the volume. Even the upper overflow lot was full! Yuck!

Camp at McSwain, but like to fish McClure. McClure was packed this weekend, even on Sunday with the constant line of t-storms rolling through dumping hail.
