    200 2.5 XRI. Loses fuel prime at idle?

    I have a mercury 200 2.5 litre XRI. 1994. It runs fine on open water but at an idle the fuel line loses prime. Any ideas?

    pulse fuel pump bad diaphram or bad check valve in squeeze bulb would be my guess

    We had a primer bulb with a pinhole in it that caused it to lose prime
