    Glasstream 1500v Hydra Bass

    IMG_20190518_111453574_HDR.jpg
My 1981 Glasstream 1500v Hydra Bass. My father bought it brand new in 81, I finally got it 4 years ago after he had neglected it. New compartment lids, carpet, wiring, new trolling motor and a rebuilt motor (same original motor as well)
currently with a 19p prop, she hits 35mph with good holeshot. With a 21p, she hits 41mph

Last season with her, so I figured I'd show her off a little bit

What hp motor? My first new boat was the same around the same year. With a 115 Merc, it would literally fly. No gps back then, but I ran with 17ft Rangers with 150s. That boat chine walked like a dog...lol.

75Hp Johnson Sea horse. There was only 2 sold in New England that year. This one and one that had a 90hp on it. This has a warrantied hull as back in 82, the other boat with the 90 on it opened up at full speed. Ended up sinking. My father go it back in 83 after they finally did the hull replacement.
Killed me watching it sit in the yard for so long, told him to give it to me

Good looking boat. Brings back memories. My dad had one with a Mercury 90 when I was a kid. Grew up fishing with him in that boat.
