kvd 1.5 hook upgrade

i know this has be gone over 18k times but i cant find out what size hooks everyone is upgrading to. what your fave hook on a kvd 1.5 squarebill. thanks

Mustad short shank triple grips. 1.5 stock hooks are size #4. So you can go with size #4 or some people size up because of the short shanks (size #2).

Trapper short shank extra wide gap for me. Just started using these last fall. I absolutely love these treble hooks.

I use a short shank on the front hook so it won’t hook the bill like the stock ones do and a long shank on the back.

I use the triple grips if they are mouthing the bait but Gami round bends if they are slapping at it.
