Charger capsized on Table Rock during MLF

They showed a capsized Charger on Table Rock during the MLF this morning. Looked like the arrows of the new 198's or 210 models. Anybody know any details?

There is a facebook thread on it as well. Looks like a charger can't tell the model though.

Not part of MLF and 3-4 of the MLF guys came up on the scene and pulled the guy out of the water. He had his life jacket on and appeared to have a kill switch on as well. I'm guessing maybe a log, standing tree, or he tried to avoid something at a good rate of speed. Purely speculation, all that matters is the guy was alive.

Skeet Reese has a video of it on his facebook. He behind the guy when it happened and got him out of the water

Nice job Skeet and partner! That was not a 198 or 210. Looked like a pretty old charger imo. Interested to see what happened......

Says on Skeet's page that he hit a wake. Must have hit it at a terrible angle. The boat did not look lile a 210 to me. Could be wrong. I think it's a smaller Charger like an 18 footer.

    Looks like it had a square/flat back. Looked like a 395 or a 396.
It may have been 186 but I think it looked bigger than 186.

I was wrong. The guys wife posted a video of the damage on Skeet's facebook; it is 186tf.

That boat was old. Look at the seats, the chrome rails going up the gunnel, the "charger" lettering on the side, etc..

Saw the video, definitely an older Charger, like a late 80's model. The video shows it upright before it flips over. Old seats and old square windshields.

Could be a older 195 or 395 ,bench seats are really old school.

Posted by the guys wife on skeet's facebook.

Dawn Bassham ClarkIt was a 96 Charger in Mint Condition. He hit a wake and it knocked his fishing poles loose. They flew up and instinct made him reach out and grab them. Then the next wake hit and the wheel jerked out of his hand to the right and threw him out. Boat is a total loss.

That's a 195vf, they had those long rails on them. I had one, it's about a 1993-1996 era.

This shows the rails on my old 195vf from long ago.

And this is a pic of a 195vf I found online, but I'm not entirely sure that's not my old boat in MN LOL!

No it is not a 195. I watched the video his wife posted of the boat and it shows 186tf(corrected by wishitwasbigger:is a 180) on it. She also said it was a 1996.

Here is skeet's facebook https://www.facebook.com/skeetreese/ scroll down to the video of the crash; then click on comments and scroll until you see the video she posted.
