I found a Plano box full of Mann's Auger Tail worms in a cabinet in the garage last winter... Threw them in the boat to fish this year... And yes they still have the smell... Dan

My mom and dad used to fish tournaments together in the 70s and 80s; she would sit in the back of the boat with her purple worm and catch the kicker fish almost every tournament. She loved to fish but was the most hard headed person I have ever met in my life! She had 1 pole and 1 lure and caught fish. That was her job, her “thing” and she did it well.

I really wish I could’ve gotten her on the water just 1 time after her cancer diagnosis. I’ll always regret that.

My autocorrect corrects away from that word. You must have a special version.

My Pop usually out fishes me from the back of the boat with his Motor Oil worm. He doesn't even use a tackle box he just has a bag of worms and a pack of hooks and bullet sinkers. Sadly he cant handle getting in and out of the boat any more but he still fishes in a small canal behind his house and still catches plenty of fish on those darn motor oil worms.

My wife fishes the heck out of motor oil worms and does quite well. I loved those old Mann's worms, grape was my favorite.

    Congratulations to your dad.

I was the same way but fished for walleye as a kid but loved just looking at all the plugs in dads and grandpas boxes
