    McCoy Copolymer Line?

What's this line like compared to pline cxx xtra strong? Thought about some of their 20 lb. flouresent blue for night time jigs & plastics. Thanks

I have used their clear blue line. It is very stretchy cast and handles excellent but is nothing like the tough and wirey CXX. I used to use it on moving baits and CXX for jigs and t rig. I would not use it for jigs and t rigs.

In my opinion, McCoy is closer to P-Line premium. Premium is available in a flourescent as well. Ive used it for years night fishing with blacklights

McCoy copolymer is a good line, I've used it for years. Give it a try I'd say you will like it, and I don't find it to be stretchy or a lot of memory.

I use McCoy on all my moving bait setups and really like it. It’s nothing like CXX which is stiff , McCoys is very limp.

I haven’t seen any in a while and it was a little difficult to find when I was using it so I don’t even know it they make it anymore. With that being said, however, I haven’t specifically looked for it recently either.
AveryF thanks, but they haven't made it in a long time.

If it ain't broke, don't break it. I have maybe a dozen spools of line I just "wanted to try out" leaving me with no go to line. I was a big Yo-Zuri line and did like anything McCoy in the past.

I have the relatively new Sufix Advance copolymer 14lb on a reel with a swim jig and so far no complaints.

I’ve used it. It’s strong and lays on the reel very well. It’s like fishing with a rubber band though. It’s fine for Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, moving baits, but I wouldn’t give you a dollar for any of it to fish bottom contact baits

I have been using the 15lb McKoy line for some time now after hearing many good words. I have used YoZuri as well, and I think the Yozuri stretches a little less, but the McKoy handles better. Seems to be the norm, the more stretch the better the handling, and vice versa.

I tried the Suffix Advanced Mono and changing almost all of my set ups to it. I love the stuff.
