helix and 1198 compatibility

Would a helix 9 or 8 and an 1198 use the same type power cord? and are you able to network via ethernet cable a helix and an 999? One more question, Can u use the u2 transducer( in the ultrex )for 2d on the helix ? I speak of the model 410840-1 ds gps g3n or the model 410810-1 ds gps g3n. thanks

Yes, same Ethernet adapter and same Ethernet cable, would need another AS EC QDE Ethernet Adapter.
The 999ci HD SI Combo uses the adapter and the 1198c SI Combo does not.

Yes, the US2 is a 83/200 kHz transducer, it does not do Down Imaging. The unit setting for the US2 is Generic 83/200 kHz. You would loose the HW CHIRP capability that the G3 units have. Need a MDI transducer on the bottom of the trolling motor to have HW CHIRP and DI or a new trolling motor with the built-in MDI transducer. If you want just HW CHIRP, that would take a HW CHIRP 2D transducer on the bottom of the trolling motor.

Yes, but only need one AS EC QDE for the Helix.
May need more stuff depending on which iPilot and which 360.
