Help with hdy jackplate

I have tr196 with a cmc 51/2 Manuel jackplate with a mercury 200 proxs v8 4stroke with 2 10ft talons since adding talons and new pro xs proformace is not we’re it should be. Never had hdy.so any help with brand or set back would be a big help. THANK U
